Good Morning! I spent the weekend cleaning out my flooded basement. I didn't know that I had a floor down there, weeded through a lot of 'stuff' and the garbage men will have a big pile to pick up. I did think 'just one' when I was all done for a job well done but I didn't. Every once in a while that 'just one' hits.
Still smoke free since Jan. 20, 2000

Sorry Ann for your water woes....we could still use all that water up by us.
Good weekend, family reunion, pictures and such. (no arguments)
Got company coming to stay over by us for a couple of nights, the couch is now going to be bed for a while.

batman here with 2 years, 1 month, 1 day. sure am proud to say that. the urge does come, not too often but i know that i can get through it. not too long ago that a pack was less than a gallon of gas. how bout some of our new friends posting?? i know it helped me an awful lot. you oldbies remember how many times i fell. one thing i learned from this board is that if you fall, there are many friends here to help you up again. the trick is to keep posting no matter what!!!

Sorry guys, I am here late but here and still smoke free. Holy cow Batman, you are not supposed to get urges that far into the quit are you?? I am still doing the fantasizing about wanting one, but I can honestly say not really. I love how I smell and how much more time I have, but it is the down time (coffee beer) that is killing me. My aunt reminded me of a time when I worked at Max and Ermas, and they came in I waited on them and lit a cig and put it in an ashtry at their table so I could have hit while I was working. I was mortified to remember that. They were all non smokers too. Yuck, and how rude of me. Karyn Six months, two weeks, three days, 6 hours, 32 minutes and 12 seconds. 2379 cigarettes not smoked, saving $344.92. Life saved: 1 week, 1 day, 6 hours, 15 minutes.
