Does it bother you because he can smoke and you can't? I mean, are you jealous that he smokes? Don't be. Take a good look at him Country. He doesn't look so healthy and it's not going to get any better if he doesn't quit smoking. He probably says he doesn't care, but I think he would care if he suddenly found out he was sick. You can't control his smoking....only your own. Don't be jealous that he's getting to enjoy his cancer sticks and you can't/won't. I think you are the smarter one just for that fact alone! He knows he's bugging you...so don't let him know. Pretend that it doesn't bother you. The old expression "fake it until you make it" means just that. The longer you pretend something doesn't bother you the sooner it won't. I feel for ya because I know I would have had a lot harder time if Dave hadn't quit first. Darn your hubby. You did say he doesn't smoke around you though, so I guess that's something. Hang in there. Keep the quit forever!

Country...I see you have 3 months under your belt...that's an impressive amount of time. Your body must be going through some heavy-duty changes in its effort to 'right itself'. Like a well oiled machine, the body requires maintenance...i.e. oxygen, food, exercise etc. I don't know how old you are or how long exactly you smoked, but if possible, try to undertake some new activities. Do some things that redirect your attention. Giving up cigarettes is only a part of quitting smoking. That sounds a bit upside down (perhaps inside-out) but the point is, smoking was woven into every nook and cranny of your existance.....Pursue a new hobby....resurrect an old one.....mix things up a bit...use different routes, try mixing up the diet...drink tea rather than coffee....it's all about change.

Hang in there Countryblocks! You are amazing. Quitting is hard enough without being surrounded by them at close range. Hang in! Remember, one puff equals one carton. As long as you hang in and don't take that puff, no matter what, you will be ok.
I would also caution against second hand smoke.
Hang in there! Keep posting! We love you!
