I've cut out all sugar and simple starches the last couple of days as well as walking for 30 minutes daily. I haven't had any cravings and feel great. I've also starting taking B vitamins and Omega 3's plus cal/mag and a multivitamin. A friend who has quit and is really into and educated about alternative health measures has swore this will make all the difference in the world. This routine is supposed to really help with mood swings.I'll keep ya posted

So does it work?
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is starches? I have heard of it before, but not quite sure.

Matt, starches are high carbohydrate food such as potatores, pasta, rice, etc. The carbohydrates found in fruits and vegetable are the good carbs, the starches are the bad carbs.
