Good morning everyone! Well, having said I live in "Lotus Land" we are covered in a blanket of snow and hitting record lows! It's like a skating rink here! Yet, it's starting to melt and by the weekend, will be a distant memory as Monday brings seasonal norms back (ie rain). In the meantime, I may have to stay home for Christmas and visit the folks on the weekend when the snow melts away. I hope everyone is managing in this snow...nice not to have to brave the cold to have a cigarette huh? Merry Christmas everyone!

Here in Michigan where it is cold and we have alot of snow. Am enjoying my grandson who is here for a few days and I am glad I don't smoke. I see some people outside smoking and wonder how they can enjoy it.
Nine months, three weeks, six days, 22 hours, 8 minutes and 40 seconds. 6038 cigarettes not smoked, saving $1,585.09. Life saved: 2 weeks, 6 days, 23 hours, 10 minutes.

I'm in!
Now that the below zero F weather has moved on we are getting another round of snow. We had a 14 inch dump on friday that my back is still hurting from.
So I called my friend in florida on sunday night when it was 5 below as I worked in my garage...he had a high of 80 and was at the time walking around shirtless. You'd think I would be envious...and you'd would be correct.

Another new year is approaching and once again, my husband will resolve to try to quit. I will try to be supportive, again... though sometimes I feel it might be better to not notice his efforts, so he won't feel as bad when he falls off the wagon. I really don't think winter is the best time for anyone to try quitting. I also live in lotus land and all of this snow has been a heck of a drag. The depressing weather just doesn't help one's mood. On the other hand, he's been having a blast with the new snow blower. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.
