Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to face the coming week smoke free. How are all our southern friends, surviving the snow/rain/sleet? It missed us in the northern areas but then we got sub zero weather instead.

Still under the weather, guess I'd rather be sick in the winter than the summer. Minor accident, death and sickness...the last two weeks have kept me occupied. At least January is over and no major snowfalls to further aggrevate my herniated disk.

Checking in. Sorry to hear about the "minor accident, death and sickeness" Don. Take care of yourself.
I've had a very challenging two weeks at work and found that I am doing quite well. I would have been in rotten shape when I smoked but doing quite well now. It all stems from quitting smoking, then learning how to eat properly, joining this site, learning to think more positively and taking better care of myself. It works!
Have a great smoke-free week everyone! Ground Hog Day tomorrow...!

Hi Ann, Don, Flo ..... hope the problems are resolved & the days smooth out.
Got snow (minor here) with light sleet on top. Got quite slippery, closed most businesses & schools, etc. That was Saturday. Finally was warmer yesterday (38) and now a cold rain to wash the ice away. More winter mix due this coming Saturday. At least we have time to buy another loaf of bread & a can of soup.
But the cold air smells great!
