Way to go Ann and Sue!! Eleven years is quite an accomplishment. It is one of those hidden blessings...of the Holy Spirit if you will that yields many many fruits, the first of which is better heath but other fruits are strength of character, clearer thinking, calmer disposition. These fruits affect everything you do. Your work improves. Your moods improve. Your outlook on life improves. Slowly and quietly the fruits continue to grow. Eleven years of bring smokefree has transformed you.
Congratulations Ann and Sue. Well done.
P.s. Dorothy..Hang in there. Never quit quitting. You will succeed one day. I did. You can too.

Thank you Flo. This is one of those quietly passing milestones that others don't recognize since it's been so long they just assume that you never smoked or that it's no longer a struggle.

One must treasure and guard one's quit. Like alcoholics, you can go for years and then something can happen and because its been so long, you think you can have just one. One way to guard your quit is to belong to sites like this. Here's to another eleven years my friend. Live long and prosper.
