A new week begins smokefree. Does anyone want to send some rain our way? We're over 10 inches under our norm. Feels like we're living in a dustbowl.
Smokefree for over 12 years!

wow judyb over 12 years is wonderful. and 10 years is great Slim. I'm nowhere near that. Had some close calls to. I have to admit I have thought about lighting up when things get rough but I stumble along.

Checking in. During my morning work out today I looked at a sweater I just bought which is cream coloured and mohair. Just hanging. During my smoking days that sweater would have been put in a plastic case to protect it from the smoke! Soooooo grateful to have been delivered from the curse of smoking.
Have a great smokeless week everyone!
P.s. yes we too are still in spring mode. Had to buy this sweater because it was that chilly and I was in summer clothes. I prefer this to a heat wave though.

July is a very busy month for me and when I leave for home lately, I just don't want to touch a computer. On a plus side I have sunburn. Been driving with the top down whenever possible and went boating last weekend. This weekend is more boy scout stuff but my wife, daughter and I are roughing it in a motel while the boy completes one of his camping ordeals.
We had storm come thru this week that flattened a lot of trees causing major traffic and power disruptions, mostly cleared up now. The grass however never drank a drop of the rain from the looks of it. At least I don't have to mow it.
GREAT GOING ON THOSE 12 BIG ONES JUDY!!!

Thanks, Don!!! Great to be back here. How old are "the kids"? We finally got 2 inches of rain today after a serious drought for a month or so.
