Here!
Been busy at work and the home front took another nose dive. We haven't told our kids yet, but their favorite uncle (husband of wife's sister currently with breast cancer) went critical with congestive heart failure and kidney failure. He was brought back twice and remains in a medically induced coma. He stablilized over the weekend with some signs of kidney improvement. Hopefully the worst is over.
Meanwhile, I can't wait until wednesday when all of the political signs and phone calls can end, for a while.

Well Slim I got a small tear in my eye as I recently got a phone call from my wife that he passed away last night. This one is gonna hurt when I tell my kids. On a plus side, he left a memory of a larger than life, over the top gracious guy. He would literally wave and talk to everyone he saw...hard to walk around the block in a timely manner with him along.

Hi everyone! So glad to see more members checking in. It was lonely through thie winter months.
Don, my condolences. We too have been saying good bye to dear family members of late. I for one am still getting the hang of life without father. I dare say it is the passing of a generation. Keep the faith. Stay in the sun. Get more exercise - walk with God.
By the way, has anyone heard from Jimpops lately? I hope he is doing ok. Wasn't he experiencing some health issues last time he checked in?
Well on a bright note, life without cigarettes is fantastic. That is one thing to be thankful for amongst a lot of other things. Take good care my good friends.
Congrats Judy on your new home! An acre sounds divine. Hope you like gardening! He he
Slim, I hope you're wearing sun screen out there on the golf course! Lucky you. We are still climbing out of winter here in Lotus land, having had snow as recently as last week. Sheesh.
Keep your chins up everyone. Until next week. Peace and love.

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle Don. Congrats on your new home Judy. I am happy you have such nice weather Slim. That sounds awesome, although I can handle 70's better. Flo, always nice to see you here. I hope Jimpops is ok too. I don't get here like I used to but still think of you all.
