Well it's another week.
How are all you folks doing on your Quits?
Judyb...hope you got your hatches battened down with Isaac on your doorstep.
Dot...how you doing? Still hanging with us?
School is in session.
The usual ups and downs around here.
I had a transaction done recently and when I got into my car I thought out loud "what is that smell?" and then I realized it was cigarette smoke from the guy in the trailer where business is conducted. Pretty cool to be that far removed from smoking and forgeting the smell...altho' as a smoker I never smelled smoke since we all reeked of it normally.
My battles with the cpap machine continue on. I've never had so much insomnia before this thing. But I'm no quitter...er wait, what?
Like quitting smoking, I intend to stick it out a while longer.
The Girl is still pretty spotted but so far things have been ok for her. She just joined gymnastics again, which is a major triumph considering her injury she had back from October. She's even doing a modeling gig (spots and all) next month.
I watch outside my work window at the smokers below and notice that many of them tried quitting. Sigh. Maybe someday they'll get a quit they stick with.
I guess, in total, there's just no room in my life for smoking!
Best decision I ever-ever made! Now I'm trying to loose some weight. Eating lots of veggies. Jury is still out if that or the cpap is the second best decision I ever made.
And so, life goes on without a cig in hand.
You all still smokeless?
Give it a shot, life is better smokeless.
