Another Monday rooolllls in!
It's been quiet around here...has it also been Quit around here?
Still living the smokeless life with the exception of an overly smoked piece of beef this weekend.
Haven't made much headway into loosing some weight although I am trying. Where I seem to have made progress is in getting more used to that CPAP thing. I can now keep it on through the night. Even bought a special pillow to help. Still too early to say that it's doing me any good yet.
Everything else is going all right on the home front, usual ups and downs.
But nowhere in my week did I have an urge to smoke, it is life without cigs which is normal to me and can be for those too who choose to go the smokeless route.

I keep checking in but it's pretty quiet on the board lately. Summer is almost all over and the kids are all back in school. I'm headed to my sisters in Scottsdale for a week of heat and swimming. Also it's my brother's 60th that we will celebrate and I'll be doing it smoke free.

I noticed that it has been quiet and I am smokefree. Hubby had lung surgery this morning. He quit smoking when he found out he had lung cancer. He had part of his right lung removed . He is in intensive care for another day. I think we met every doctor. Won't know til next week if he will need chemo. He was scared and so am I. He said to me "I'm like others that smoke. I thought nothing would happen to me." We don't lecture anyone because I don't know if it would help. He said this was his wake up. Spent most of my day in the hospital. Smoking is not worth all of this. It's been almost 5 years for me.
