I remember Sag too. It is so hard to believe that she has left this earth so soon.

Dorothy I haven't been here in a long, long time, but I do remember you and Roger. So sorry for your loss. I pray that as time goes by your heart will heal and things will start looking up for you. God Bless you. Dee

No matter how I try, I can't catch up to you. BUT, I'll have my big one-oh in April. Congratulations Ann and Suez. Isn't it wonderful to be smoke free?!

Hey Slim, I'm heading south next month too! Can't wait. I hope they have some sun and warm weather down there in Florida. Going to visit daughter and grandkids. Smokeless...or she probably wouldn't want me to come....and I can't say I blame her. Smoking STINKS! April 24, 2000

I've kept my quit for over 9 years and I'm so happy I got through those first months that just about drove me nuts. I quit cold turkey...wow, what a challenge that was. When I thought I couldn't get through the cravings I just kept repeating my grandkids names over and over and then I'd realize the crave had left me for the time being. I got through it and now I'm happy to tell all of you that a year ago last October my dear daughter in law presented us with identical twin girls. Maybe if I hadn't quit when I did I wouldn't have been around for that blessing. Thanks to all of you who supported me through the bad times and the good times. Merry Christmas to all, Dee

Wishing all the board a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. KTQ is the best advice going. I quit 8 years and 8 months ago. That time sure flew by, but not at first! Dee

Hot and muggy here too, but at least it's not complicated by thick, nasty cigarette smoke! I quit April 24, 2000! Sweeeet! Dee

Dee here. Will have 9 years this month. Time sure flies. Just checkin' in to see how my buddy countryblocks is doing. So proud of you. You made it to a year. Can you believe it? I bet you thought it would never happen. I'm glad it did, and I know you are too. Dot and Getagrip, congratulations on your decision to quit smoking. Keep a positive attitude and just remember that smoking is not an option.

Went Christmas shopping this morning. The air was crisp, clean and chilly. That's what they make coats for though! lol. Slim, put your feet up and relax with your favorite tv station, take a nap, listen to soothing music, or, in the real world, get dressed and go to work! Sorry. Hope you feel better soon. I was sick with whatever in October, and hope to stay well until next October. Wishing you well, my friend. Dee....also in Michigan
