Well, first real day of my layoff. Got up at 6:00 this morning, which is 1 1/2 hours later than if I was working. AAAHHHH to sleep in.
Ten months, four weeks, 8 hours, 2 minutes and counting.

Still have urges, a couple a day, I just tell myself "OH WELL" and continue on with what I was doing. I think the beast is an *#&@^@% so I am mean right back and dont pay any attention, he wont win me back!

All my family left on Saturday except for my mother, I get her until January. Now the question is will she drive me to smoke or do I have enough time in to resist? ? 4 years 10 months 1 week 1 day, 35,498 not smoked, saved $4,088.99, life saved 17 weeks 4 days

G'morning!
Lights are up on the house and decorations are getting into place. All it takes is for that one bulb to knock it all out....even when the box states the rest keep on glowing---liars!
At the current rate, we're looking at having a white xmas.

back from vacationing on the gulf coast!!! had a few beautiful days, napping in the sun, beachcombing.
haven't needed to feed my habit for 6 years, 4 months and some days, hours and minutes!!!

Checking in. Seemed like the Thanksgiving Holiday went by real quick. Too bad, gotta go back to school :-/tonight and examine moral law and its precepts and compare and contrast it between Augustine and Calvin, WOW - lots of FUN! Great prof. though - he keeps it real.
I have been quit for 1 Week, 3 Days, 3 minutes and 31 seconds (10 days). I have saved $47.24 by not smoking 270 cigarettes. I have saved 22 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 11/19/2004

I've been in the hospital with pheumonia. Horrible feeling - not being able to breath. So glad I quit smoking almost five years ago!!
Welcome back Donna!! I quit for my 55th birthday,too. You CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
Good to see so many new faces here, along with all of the old ones!!

Ahhhh yes roll call once again. I have been smoke free for 20 hours now. Still have a slight cold and a nasty throat helping me say no!
Glad to see you SueZ...hope you are feeling better. Maybe quitting at 55 is the one that sticks...I certainly hope so! Nice to see familiar names again and the newbies too...oh yeah...I'm a newbie again huh?
Not too bad of a day...very busy....had a few tough cravings but stood my ground.

The holidays sort of take over from Thanksgiving to New years....my family is setting up Christmas decorations and listening to Holiday music to boot.
I cannot believe that it is almost December....14 yr anniversary coming up fast....oh my...how time flies. The first month of going smober feels like forever and now 3 yrs 5 Mo 2 w ..... quit time is piling up!
And Don....it's to dang cold to be putting up lights outside...praying for a bit nicer day as it has been raining, sleeting and just yuck my way. Kids are on me

batman checking in with 1 year 4 months and 14 days.i do not really know how but that is the stats. im proud of them but what really makes this batman proud is the newbies. 3 months, 2 months 20 days. man oh man keep that up !!!!!!!! the biggest confidence builder that i have is the knowledge that i am stronger than the beast one urge at a time. that is what you guys are learning . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK< my cowl is off to you.
