well this is day 2 and I will not lie. this is very hard. I know know what I went through when I quit over a year ago. I really looked forward to quitting and make it work but I don't know if I can. sorry about whining but I am a mess

Whine away Country. Just don't light up. We're here to listen and help if we can. We've all been there, done that. Get busy with something you enjoy. Or sleep if you can. Or exercise. Remember, the craving will go away within 5 minutes whether you smoke or not. So, don't smoke. Lots of water and deep breathing will help a lot.

Please, Please, Please don't give up your quit. Yes it is hard, it's very hard but so worth it in the end. It just seems worse now because the nicotine is still in your system. I don't know if you are using a NRT or not but get something to help you over the worst of it, gum, patch, inhaler, zyban whatever. You know how much you want this quit to be your final quit, just don't give up on yourself.
Post, post, post, then read, read and read some more. Go to Southbeachfriends.com and read the old posts and all the hints and tips posted there. You just have to believe that you can get through this and then the rest is a piece of cake (so to speak).
