Hey Countryblocks, You hang in there. I'm no expert at giving quitting advice, but I failed numerous times. No it is NOT stupid. Quitting is very difficult. The people at this forum are excellent and very kind, read through their posts and replys. Try and start again when you are ready. I wish you the best and I will keep you in my prayers, God bless...John

So...what did those puffs bring to you that you didn't already have?
The only thing you solved was a need to fill your addiction. That's it, nothing more.
The primary reason we smoke is to avoid withdrawal. Otherwise, quiting would be easy. Instead every hour or so we need to feed our addiction or suffer the immediate discomfort of withdrawal. It is an endless cycle...ok, I'm maybe wrong there...the cycle eventually helps you to the grave and there it ends.
Man! I wish I had an army of slaves!! Oh the power I could wield. "Obey me or suffer!" Get my pipe, get my bowl, get my fiddlers--all 3 of them. Oh and be a dear and bring me some dark beer.
There is only one way out and that's straight thru the path of smokelessness. I never promised you a rose garden replete of thorns.
Keep with it Countryblocks! slips don't matter if the course is still set in your head.
