Thanks to all who responded to my letter of woe. It really helps to know others have experienced the same thing. I thought the length of time it was taking me to get over this was really extreme. Don, someone else told me it took them at least 6 mths. to feel better so I'll hold onto that thought. You're all so right, I just have to hang tough and I can do it! I just pity the poor souls who have to put up with me.

Truthfully Sandy, most of us have gone through those same feelings. I remember wanting to just get up on the roof of my house and scream at the top of my lungs. I'm so glad I didn't carry though with that one. I might not be living here now. ;D
Things will get better as time goes by. No one ever died from a craving. A craving will go away whether you smoke or not. Ya just gotta find something to do til the craving leaves. Take a shower, take a walk, walk in circles...that one was fun. I did it in my basement where no one could see me. Pretty soon I'd get to laughing about how stupid walking around in circles in the basement is and then I'd realize the crave was gone~ One thing some new people do is concentrate too much on themselves. They are constantly on the pity pot, if they'd just reach out and try to help someone else they'd be way better off. (Don't take this personally, I am not directing this particular thought to you)
My advice would be to stick close to this board. Don't just read the posts, but RESPOND, that's where the help really comes in. If you reach out to help someone else, you are in effect helping yourself.
Best of luck, Dee
ps....I think your are doing super!

... and the good new is, that as of tomorrow you will have hurdled one of the dreaded 3's. 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, etc. You've got it licked (figuratively). I hope you are feeling better today.

Dee, Gracie, Thanks for the support. What is it anyways about month 3??? I've quit twice before and started again between month 3 and 4. But as of today it's month 4 and full speed ahead!!Dee, I don't really get cravings persay it's more a problem of general tension and unease that has overall made me a more negative, angry sort of gal. But I'm gonna work on that.
