I loved smoking. I loved that first smoke in the morning (which turned into 4 smokes within an hour). I loved the 2 smokes in my (20 minute) ride to work, I loved the 3 smokes througout the morning, 2 at lunch, 3 in the afternoon, 2 on the way home, and the rest of the pack at night. I loved smoking. But, I also love breathing. I realized how much I loved breathing when one night last week I couldn't. I realized that at 34 years old, I didn't want to end up using a nebulizer 4 times a day. Didn't want to be hooked up to the oxygen 24 hours a day. Didn't want to die before my time. Has it been hard? Yes and no. It has been a lot easier in some aspects than I ever imagined. The cravings, when they hit, are hard. But, I am harder, more stubborn than they are! So, I guess you need to ask yourself: Do you love smoking or do you love breathing? Julie found on Quitnet
