I have a dumb question to ask.What is the difference between cravings and urges? I still have them strong.

Well, I don't know if there is scientific difference when speaking about withdrawls from nictoine but the basic dicitionary meanings are as follows: craving - A consuming desire; a yearning. urge\s - n. The act of urging. a. An impulse that prompts action or effort: suppressed an urge to laugh. b. An involuntary tendency to perform a given activity; an instinct: "There is a human urge to clarify, rationalize, justify" (Leonard Bernstein). I hope this helps. Country, I think people here at the board use them interchangeably. I'm glad to see you are still with us. You are doing a great job of fighting the urges/cravings. Keep it up. How about showing us your meter on Roll Call day, or anytime. I can't remember your exact quit day, but I do know that you are somewhere between your first and second month. Way to go!
