I justed wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Smokebusters for all your kind support. I won't be able to get to a pc until Sunday evening. Tomorrow will be very busy here at the Seminary and Wednesday I'll be heading up to see the Bishop in Brooklyn. He wants to meet with me before he ordains me. I'll have rehearsels to do and what have you and I am bringing my homework with me - can you believe it, those evil professors! I will be thinking of all of you on Saturday and will offer a special prayer for you all. Please remember to put a good a word in for me on Saturday. The ordination is at 11am.
This forum is truly a God-send. There are good people here, who think of others and offer great advice. Its too bad we couldn't meet face to face to share our stories. Yet, we remain united in some way through the Spirit. God bless you all. Yours in Christ, John
I will get back to you all Sunday or Monday morning to let you know how it went. I hope to post a couple of pictures as well.

How does one address a deacon? Besides, of course, Congratulations!
Maybe I jumped the gun a bit, from an earlier posting from you "...and please keep me in your prayers as Jan. 22 approaches - thats the day I will be ordained as a deacon. God bless, John. "

Maybe John can be the "Deacon Beakon" and lead others to the world of no smoking. And thank you John, for reigniting the fuel of desire to quit smoking. It's easy to become lazy & self indulging...and forgo helping someone in need, you've shown the enthusiam we all should have. God bless Jimpops

As you take the time to thank this group of smokeless wonders .... I would like to take this time to thank you for sharing with us your continued victory over this nasty addiction, inspiring others to take up the fight, and offering sound enthusiatic help to others here. Not to mention that little thing about working for the man upstairs in a deacon like manner ;-)
God Bless you John We will be with you in Spirit this weekend.

John, best wishes for your ordination. Yes, how does one address a deacon?
You've been my leader and hero since I got on this board and I thank you for your inspiration.
My thoughts will be with you Saturday for your ordination.

John, of course you'll be in my prayers . I just know everything will be fine. You have the BEST BOSS in all the world. I wonder, would one say " Deacon! Sir!!" ? God Bless you John. You are a wonderful asset to this board.

Of course the best part of this image Deacon John, is the lack of a cigarette hanging out of your mouth!

Rev John
Has a nice ring to it!
It must feel pretty good to reach this place in your journey and not be running outside in the cold to have a nasty smoke!
