Hi there, this is not smoking related but since you are our resident North Carolina guy, do you have any info on a good family resort, or place to stay kind of inexpensive somewhere in North Carolina or South. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Karyn

It's off season and that means much lower prices. At Myrtle Beach in SC. A lot of shopping & shows similar to Branson, Mo ... The NC beaches are also off season...go on the web and search hotel chains or cities for deals. Atlantic Beach, Outer Banks, Grand Strand (SC) are a couple of beginning points. There's countless places to stay...stick with the familiar names if not comfortable on the info on some place.
The mountains are full of fun. It's getting close to heavy snow time so be careful! Snow skiing abounds. During warmer weather, there's rapids & mountain trails & senic drives.
Search North Carolina & look for vacation destinations.
Come on down!

Jimpops, Thanks for your reply. We are actually wanting to go when it is warmer outside. I am a beach person and golf person. Is it warm down there in May, do you know what the temps would be. I want to go in June but my little sister is due with her first baby June 16th. Is July too hot? Thanks for any info? Karyn

Karyn...May can be a great month. Warm, not hot.
The heat builds during June ... July & Aug hot as h***.
The beaches are great. Atlantic Beach south to Wilmington are covered with resorts, motels, etc. It's also filled with vacationers. Use e-mail to check prices & availability. It's tourist season, prices are HIGH./
Concider the outer banks area. More areas of solitude. Islands connected by ferry boats, bikers galore (bicycles), towns seperated by miles of sand dunes & beaches, fishing, speciality shops, lighthouses, sea food restaurants. Check North Carolina on Google.
Golf is well & thriving. Again, web sites will reveal all the particulars you need. High prices to reasonable. Packages. Find one you like.
June thru Aug HOT May Warm
There's plenty to see & do.
Come on down, bring money, help keep North Carolina Green!
Well, we like visitors. Don't worry about spending too much.

Thanks Jimpops. LoL I would be happy to come spend my money there. I just need to pick a month. I would like too many people to join us and having a hard time figuring out when everyone can go. My Dad is a big golfer so if he goes that is where his time will be spent. We all may have to take turns with the kids because we all golf. The best part is knowing I will be smoke free at that time. Thanks again for the info Karyn
