I trust my fellow Americans survived the American holiday weekend? (Wasn't there enough smoke in the air to satisfy any errant crave?)
As for the rest of the world, business as usual for the fight to be smokeless.
Checking in and cigaretteless since: 10-27-99

This is the busiest time of year for me work-wise so that keeps me too busy to even consider lighting up. 10 months, 4 days, 11 hours and counting. I have not smoked 12338 butts saving me $1357.26 and I have saved 6 weeks, 20 hours and 10 minutes of my life.

Still here and going strong. Urges not that bad at all. I will be heading over to Rome on July 25th to August 3rd. I am very excited, however, now that I have irritable bowel syndrome I will have to stay away from most of my favorite food - Italian, but thats ok. Hope all had a wonderful weekend. Also to let you all know I will be ordained a priest on August 13th of this year at my home parish in NJ. Please keep me in your prayers, I am very excited and nervous as well. Great time to quit smoking huh? Well, I guess no time is a good time or rather any time is a good time!!! Have a great week everyone, and God bless, Deacon John
Quit date, June 24th, 2005 (13 days quit) I don't have my quit meter here at this computer, I am currently doing summer ministry at St. Jude Shrine in MD. The saint for hopeless cases or things despaired of, if you need prayers please let me know and I will pray for you and place your prayers at the altar.

batman here still smoke free and planning one heck of a cyber party for july 15th. that will be two years. john, we all can use prayers. keep us all in mind when you take your vows. you will be a great priest as i know you realize what it is to struggle. i for one am very proud of you. my favorite saint is mary magdalan. she was not perfect as i also am not but she never yielded and always stayed faithful. i think she fits the quotation that all the saints were not angels.
