As I continue to save up money for my upcoming fishing trip, I remark to myself just how good it is not tossing a fiver daily into smoke.
The money saved really adds up. And unlike the health benefits of quitting, it's something that is most readily measured, tangible and rewarding.
Now, after some quittime, health comparisons can be measured with the bonus given a nod to quitting.
Quitting really is a sweet deal.

Yes it's nice having a few extra $$$ every pay check isn't it! Hubby enjoys the three new golfclubs, lawn edger and lawn vacuum. I still find myself short of breath after all these years but then if I hadn't quit when I did it could be a whole lot worse.

Me too. Hubby and I both are savin a whole lot of money. Dorothy: saving $4,000.34. Roger: saving $9,249.62.

These are my stats from yesterday but they give one the general idea, $664.00 saved so far.
Time Smoke-Free: 83 days, 22 hours, 24 minutes and 54 seconds Cigarettes NOT smoked: 1511 Lifetime Saved: 11 days, 13 hours Money Saved: $664.00
I haven't put it in a jar as many have but I have been having a ball with the extra money to go with my joy in not smoking.
