I just received a phone call from an old member here - Kathleen. Judy had her phone number and told her to let me know so I could post a message. She is okay has food and water but that is all the information that I have at this time.

Well this IS good news!
I just dropped off food-stocks at a semi-trailer pickup for our town. Something personal about giving this time!
Life is never boring...but there's a lot to be said for boring!
Keep looking forward Judy!

I found you all!
Yes, Judy called a few hours ago wanting to get word to you that she is okay. As she said, she was afraid you might be "freaking out" over her well-being. She was on her cell phone, so our connection wasn't the best. She is with her boyfriend...they have electricity available for 10 hours a day, they have ice, water and food. She even talked of getting laundry done.
It was great to talk to her as I had been concerned about her too, though awful to have these be the circumstances which got us connected.
I told her my husband and friend are currently on his way from here (Omaha, NE area) with 2 generators, tools, and other supplies headed for Pascagoula, Miss. Our church is sending more people and donations down there next Wednesday. Judy thought it was "so awesome" that people were so willing to help.
I told her to hang on, there are people all over the country reaching out to all of the gulf coast people with help and love.
Keep up the prayers and the aid!
Good to "see" you all...and for those who remember Tigger...bet he is really jumping high knowing our JudyB is ok!!!

Hey Don, There's Judy, up to her neck in water but staying afloat. That's our girl! (So good to see Tigger AND a pic from the archives)
Latest Update:
I just talked with Judy again ...she was just setting down to a delicious MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) she said! She stayed at her house throughout the storm...there are trees down everywhere. I was wrong, they do NOT have electricity, but have bought a generator to supply some needs. They have running water from 8 AM to 10 PM. They spent the day driving around to locations that have ice and water. She said gosoline lines are miles long. Cell towers were affected of course and our connection was dropped while we were still trying to talk, we made a couple of attempts to get reconnected without luck.
I let her know you all knew she was ok now, and she was relieved. She sounds good!

Thank Goodness. She is on my mind. I've been thinking about what I can do. My temporary assignments runs out the end of September. I think I'm going to sign up for Habitat for Humanity and gear my donations there also.
What a tragedy. I'm glad JudyB is okay. Kathleen if you talk to her again, give her my best and if it gets rough there, tell her she can come to CT to stay with me. Although she is a smart cookies - a generator!!!
Good for her!!

Ann and Kathleen, thank you so much for letting us know. And yes, our prayers have been answered. I can't wait until she gets her saucy self back online and fills us in on her "adventure".

I finally got ahold of Judyb after trying for two days - bad connections. She will still have a job and they will be back to work at the end of the month so we will probably hear from her then. She sounds so upbeat I can't imagine going through something like that and being so upbeat, I'd be having a nervous break down but not our Judyb. She says she is fine she is even getting things to take to people sitting on the side of the road in the next little town along the highway. They have MRE, water and a generator so they will stay and help out.
