Checking in a little late, had to run into Wisconsin for my aunt's memorial this weekend and the construction was awful in Chicago. Although I must say it's probably nothing compared to the clean up they are doing in the south. Sending lots of prayers and good thoughts their way.
Quit Jan. 20, 2000

Hi there Elaine. I am sure looking forward to my next doctor's appointment when I can answer NO to the smoking question. This past January I came down with pneumonia. They thought originally that it was smoker's bronchitis. X-rays show pneumonia instead and I was in an inhaler and some medication. I never want to have to go through that again. That was probably the most miserable illness I have had! The doctor said because I was a smoker it would probably take a bit longer to get rid of even with the inhaler and meds and it did take awhile. Yuck!!!
Anyway, prayers still being sent Judy!!!
I hope you all have a peaceful evening and angels on your pillows!!
I have been quit for 1 Week, 5 Days, 44 minutes and 32 seconds (12 days). I have saved $96.24 by not smoking 481 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 16 hours and 5 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 9/8/2005 9:00 PM

Hi all checking in but very late this week. Judy happy to have you back on, and good thoughts your way. Elaine what did you do to your self? Teiger, you go Karen great job!!!! You are doing wonderful, how do you feel? I still sometimes "think" a cig would be nice, but then not really, I go back and forth with myself still, I so hope after a couple of years this Romanticizing those stupid cigs will go away. still loving it for the most part though, I love saying I am a non smoker I had a smoking dream the other night after not having those forever. It was the longest cigarette ever and I really didnt feel too guilty, that in itself made me feel guilty. See guilt will never let me light up again lol Karyn Seven months, three weeks, two days, 49 minutes and 45 seconds. 2808 cigarettes not smoked, saving $408.89. Life saved: 1 week, 2 days, 18 hours, 0 minutes.
