Wow! I hit the two week mark and I was like I WANT TO SMOKE last night!! Thankfully I did not. I was on edge and feeling like I was going to snap. After we put our son to bed, I went for a good walk and that helped a lot. I thought about the reasons I quit and wanted to stay quit and then just cleared my mind of the smoking. So today, I am happy to say, I am still smoke free. I got over that hurdle thankfully. One Day At A Time. I hope you all have a great weekend. I sure intend to!!
I have been quit for 2 Weeks, 8 hours, 16 minutes and 26 seconds (14 days). I have saved $114.75 by not smoking 573 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 23 hours and 45 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 9/8/2005 9:00 PM
Hugs and love,

And there you go!
You have your life in your hands. It is your choice to live!
2 weeks is when I made the choice to search the internet for support because I wanted to stay quit.

Congratulations Karen. Two weeks is a major milestone. We're all very proud of you. We watched you struggle during your last quit. But some how this one is different. You seem to be able to concentrate on the positive instead of the negative. Your attitude is just wonderful. You are an inspiration to all of us "quitters" and to the wannabees also. Keep showing us how it's done.

Thank you everyone. Yes, I did struggle with my last quit. So much so that I gave up on quitting for awhile. I am sure glad I did not give up on quitting for good. I feel so good today and there are so many positives to quitting smoking. A lot more positives then negatives. I found those positives this time around and it is for that reason I can concentrate better on them!!!! Thanks so much for your wonderful messages and for being the support for me that I have looked for. You are all wonderful and loving people!!!
