Goodmorning everyone, It has been a different day for me so far. I'm experiencing some light headedness and dizzy feelings. I've had some little fights with the beast, but chased him away. I don't have the "parting of my friend" syndrome I had the first time I quit because having already been smoke free for over two years the last time, I know that there is life without cigarettes and life after quitting and you don't become a different person etc. all the fears I had back then. So because I don't have to deal hopefully with the crying jags and fear of last time, I should be stronger to deal with cravings and stinkin thinkin. I think I'm going to take the "nap route" today and get some hours under my belt while sleeping. Thanks for all who wrote and welcomed me back, it's very important to me to know you are all here. While on that subject, does anyone ever hear from: Christy, JP, Kathleen, Paula or any of the old oldbies?? Well, off to rest awhile and detox some I hope. ~Donna 15 hours, 14 minutes and 56 seconds. 9 cigarettes not smoked, saving $2.02. Life saved: 45 minutes.

Welcome Back Donna
It's nice to see you back and choosing not to smoke anymore. It's time don't ya think! We all know you can do it! Rest, sleep and drink alot of water the first week or so. It helped me get thru some tough times. And coming here for help and inspiration will fuel you along. I would love to see you and Dot here posting smokefree ....for the forseeable near future :-)
AS for the long time members, many still come by and look around but don't post anymore...where some occationaly post and JP was here not long ago and then left. This quitting thing can be such a struggle. Kathleen posted recently in regards to Judyb who survived Hurricane Katrina.
Come here and read and post often for best results! _slim

Congrats on your decision to quit smoking. I straddled the fence around here about a year ago and finally came back and am smoke free again!! Good to see you here!
Tomorrow I go to my 7 mg patches. I forgot to put my last 14 mg patch on today and went through the whole work day without it but chickened out when I came home and put it on LOL! Oh well, I am still smoke free and grateful!!
I have been quit for 1 Month, 1 Week, 4 Days, 19 hours, 21 minutes and 26 seconds (41 days). I have saved $334.45 by not smoking 1,672 cigarettes. I have saved 5 Days, 19 hours and 20 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 9/8/2005 9:00 PM
Hugs,
