Another week starts off smokeless. (Flo, you beat me to posting...so I deleted mine) Good to see you ring in with those 6 big ones!
Just bought a (used) car this weekend. The car was once a rental. Even tho' it clearly had a sticker saying "Please don't smoke", there is the positive evidence that a smoker once drove it due to the tiny little holes left in the driver's seat. Another of the joys of being a smoker.
Let's hope the only smoke the rest of you may possibly see this week (at least in the US) is emanating from the holiday dinner table.

Thanks for the praise everyone! You know, I was thinking last night that I hardly ever, indeed, never think of having a cigarette anymore. Yet, it's become such a part of my psyche that it's second nature. To wit: I had a need to eat something but I didn't know what...then I realized that it was probably a cigarette craving that was going on and the hankering went away. Interesting. Still, I never think of having a cigarette anymore. The other day, there was someone at the cross-walk lighting up and I got a whiff and a flash happened in which I realized that even if I were able to smoke without any repurcussions whatsoever, I still wouldn't smoke.
Hope you are all enjoying your freedom from cigarettes and enjoying your week. We finally got a break from the deluge and winds we've been experiencing in the Pacific Northwest. There's talk of snow now. It's getting a bit nippy. Still, it's better than some places isn't it? Poor New Orleans. Still trying to get out from under.
