We got back from one of those Chinese Buffets.
My daughter made a meal out of the fortune cookies. That and eating jello with chopsticks.
She just handed me the 'fortune' from the last 2 cookies she brought home. It reads: "Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you." Could it be that the writers aren't trying that hard anymore??
Is this the same writer that places the "Do not use in shower" label on the hairdryer? Or the guy who writes "May cause drowsinesss" on the sleep aid package?
Life is good if I can nit pick on the inconsequential!

Of course it's the same guy. All those hair dryers, etc. are made in China. The fortune cookie writer works both places to make ends meet. And he moonlights for Hallmark.

The best "warning" I ever read was on the back of one of those sun shields you put in the windshield of your car. It said "Do not attempt to operate your vehicle while this is in place". No Duh, what an genius.

While we're in a laughing mood, I have to share with you an episode in America's Funniest Videos where there was this child, young boy, about 5-6 months - and the parents had drawn a picture of Charlie Brown's face on the back of the child's face - which child was waddling around...it was so cute - his big bald head - it really looked like Charlie Brown. There was also this mother who was taping her son, this one was about 3-4 years old and quite chubby and wearing a bathing suit and she was trying to talk him into doing the macarena and he was arguing with her saying he'd done it too many times already, then ok, just one more (the mother then said well, we're alone, it's just us), and he said, ok, just this one time then - and did the macarena - it was soooo cute -
