Hi...glad you're staying around and staying busy. It's quiet here on the board today. I'm stuck in too. We are having our first snow (and sleet, etc. etc.) today. I wish it would go ahead and dump a foot, but as it is, it's just enough to make things messy. It's been several year since we had a big snow.
Ive been making a warp to thread in one of the looms. That takes a lot of time, but at least it keeps my hands busy while I watch tv. Otherwise I just hang around and eat. My sister sent over half and strawberry cake....I'm staying out of the kitchen to avoid eating the whole thing!

Ramble on. A good ramble helps clean the soul, just like a good cry can. I admire your determination to keep busy rather than just sit around and feel sorry for yourself. Good job. You'll see, it will be worth it. KTQ

exercise is my job, lol, but do enjoy it, I had a good shoppind day(more like window shopping) I got some great fabric today, still on a hunt for the handles I need for those purses, I look around tomorrow, doing wash now, saved some chores to do at night, since that seems my hardest time, until I can get sewing

I sew also. But I only make quilts. I'm not much for garment construction. I admire those who are good at that. Too complicated for me. With quilting, you can just "wing" a lot of things. If you are making clothes, well both arms of a blouse really need to be the same size. LOL! You're doing great. Hang in there, it does get easier.

The only other crafting I do besides quilting is scroll sawing. I love doing that. I don't even like to make purses. Just quilting when it comes to sewing, and machine not so much by hand. The important thing is that you do have things you enjoy doing that help take your mind off of the quit process for a bit. Whatever you enjoy doing is fine. Reading also helps take your mind off your troubles. It transports you somewhere else.
