Hey judyb! Checking in from the great Pacific Northwest where we are getting the last rain fall of the weeklong storm. It rained cats and dogs a couple of times last week, almost tropical storms. It was neat in a way. We needed to cool down. The sun will be coming back tomorrow or Wednesday though and it'll be smokin' again. Of course, the weather will be the only thing smokin' over here. I'm smoke free and loving it.
Sounds like you had a great trip judyb.
Have a great smoke free week everyone!

Hey Judy nice NINE! you got there!! Cool trip you took. Bet Maine was much cooler than LA at this time of year. Did your family detect any cajun creepin' into your vocabulary? Slim, you asked about the breed of dog we got and it's an English Golden. Little fellow is keeping us busy!...and very tired! babies + puppies...I told the wife that if we ever want to add anyone or thing on to the family again that it'll be an adult. So that makes you adoptable on our list Slim! 10-27-99

Beautiful day here in Michigan. Company outing tomorrow morning afternoon. Tough day on the Golf Course! :-) Don, that sounds like a great dog. I really like Golden's...the wife is stuck on yellow labs. We will see which one comes in at the best price. ;-) Problem is nothing is to cheap over here.
NINE Judy... very cool!

Judy I think we're past bestowing 'Super-Oldbie' status...I don't think you want to be called "Senior-super-oldbie"..do you?

Way to Go JUDYBEEEEE!!! Congratulations to you...amazing...but so is life isn't it and you are proof it is better healthy. Along with the bad stuff for quitting...I understand the need for reminders about why we quit but what about the plus side...what is it that motivates you...how do you feel now...truly...do you still get big cravings and what do you do to deal with them...what changes did you make in your life to take the place of the smokes...are you really feeling healthier...did you get sick at first then better...what do you love most about not smoking...what makes you stick with it...stuff like that...you know...do you breathe easier...do you like who you have become or do you miss the person you were...are you stronger...calmer...easier going...or more tense...crankier...but you still are happy you are where you are??... Still here...not counting days this time...somehow for me it doesn't seem that important...more important just to be here...when I can...one day at a time. JP

JP!!!
Good to hear from you again!
Every single stinking day smokeless is a victory in itself.
Take all of the smokeless days that you can!
I know you'll make it on your own!!
