well I am home spent 4 beautiful days on a mini vacation with hubby and dog in the mountains,had a nice time swiming,hiking,canoeing,shopping and eating, what I did not like and was surprized how strong the urge was to smoke,that I could not sleep the first night, this was one of my "firsts"first time away as a non smoker, well I am happy to say I am still smoke free, I am 7 months with one day slip under my belt, I am happy, boy is it HOT back here in the city,I miss the mountain air already, I pray you are all doing well, Mary

seven months is quite an accomplishment. You are doing very well. It's normal to have cravings whenever you are experiencing a "first" of any kind. Your first trip in the car, your first cup of coffee, all those things trigger cravings. You have beat them for seven months! Way to go, keep it up.

That was a good test for you! I remember taking a road trip with the family( over 1000 miles) and i loved to smoke in the car....thought it kept me awake....LIE....anyways, I was about 8 months.....and I made it smokefree and so glad you made it too! More and more you will defeat the old habits and bring on the new! Keep that nico beast in the rear view mirror. And keep the quit. You are doing Great! KTQ
