Yeah, just wondering how all the ex-smokers and wannabees are doing on this sunny, hot Saturday? It's funny, but I never think about smoking until I think I should come here and offer some words of encouragement. Then I don't think about ME smoking, but about all the struggles that newbies are going through...and some not so newbies are still struggling too. JP, are you still amongst the quitters? I hope so. I know you have had a rough time staying quit, but one of these times you'll make it, so don't give up!. Country, I know today is a hard day for you from the email you sent me, but a cigarette won't help, and the only thing it would change is your status as an ex-smoker. Don't pick up that "Just One". One leads to two, two leads to four, you know how it goes. Next thing ya know you're right back at it! Please, stay smoke free. Hope everyone else is having a great Saturday...smoke free of course. The only thing smoking around here right now is our bbq grill....chicken kabobs and home grown sweet corn just picked out of our garden....ha ha you little squirrels, we beat you to these 3 ears!

Hey Dee, I am doing great! Funny tho...i grilled up the same dinner on Sat
chicken kabobs and sweet corn....good stuff!!! I have been trying to eat healthier these days and so far i have managed to lose a couple of lbs....( like 10 ;D) and only 5 away from my goal. I find that in anything worthwhile, like quitting smoking or getting healthy, you have to make a decision from way deep down inside that i will do this!! This decision is important to me and I am going to be successful no matter what. It sounds corny but oh so true. I hope all of you can find that inner fortitude to keep on keeping on towards a new smokefree self! Like Dee says above.....there is the day that cravings go aways, and thoughts of smoking revolves around helping wannabee and newbie quitters to become successful.
