hundreds and hundreds of days smoke free...ain't that a joy Karen!
New pup is keeping us busy....gotta keep plugging along 'till "good dog" outnumbers "bad dog".
In the smoking years, one would find the smallest of reasons to light up. I honestly have no urge to smoke. Strangle those who piss me off, yes, but smoke...no!

36 days and feeling better all the time! Thanks to everyone for your encouragement. Now I need to visit the weighty matters section. I'm thinking more of food than smoking now. I do feel healthier though, even with the extra pounds!

I'm here Country, and smoke-free. Hubby's brother has been sick and we've been with them the last couple of days. We canned salsa out there Monday and yesterday we went to the county fair, today we had to go to emergency because brother was taken in. He's back home...for now. Hope you are doing grreat, and everyone else too. It seems like it is still really hot, but I guess it is a little cooler. I can't wait until the nights get down into the 40s and 50s.

have tried many methods to quit...managed to quit but never stayed that way...I don't know if anyone remembers but a long time ago I posted that I simply could not stand the empty feeling I got when I did stop smoking...never knew how to fill it...never knew what it was...just knew it made me extremely uncomfortable...well...I am on champix...and folks...I wish this had been available years ago...no emptiness...just a wonderful good happy feeling...no feeling drugged like with zyban...no itchiness like with patches...no feeling dumb after failing with every other method known to man...just feeling good not smoking...feeling content...something that has been missing for a long time. It is all good. Not around much as am on holidays but will check in when I can. Take care all JP
