Good morning Karen and everyone else!
Great weekend here. Family day yesterday, icecream and hiking with daughter on my shoulder. Sat night I met with a bunch of people I converse with in my beer making hobby. About a dozen social drinkers and no one running outside to smoke. Friday night The Wife and I had our very few nights out to dinner without kids (about #6 in 14 years). We sat in the smoking section (very busy place) but the smoke didn't bother me. I had to laugh a bit when the elder lady at table next to us told her husband she had to smoke one more before they got into the car. That's right lady, god help ya if you can't get that last smoke in!

I can't believe it's October already!! It's so good to be an ex-smoker.
Don, I remember when you were just starting your family...The Boy and The Girl...right? I think that's how it went. "Do you have A Dog?" I always enjoyed your posts very much and am glad you are still here!
Everyone else, especially the strugglers, hang in there and God Bless you all.

Good morning everyone! It's been raining all week and will continue to do so for another week but we have a break right now with a bit of sunshine coming through. Take the half full cup over the half empty one every time!
Still smoke free - grateful and loving every minute of it.
Have a great smokefree week everyone!

Here!
No kids at the dinner table in my house...they're all in their 30's and are out running around loose....yikes.
Still pedaling my butt up and down the bike paths...this is the best time of year for it...cooler weather, leaves crunching under the tires, what a blast.
If you have quit smoking...congratulations; if you're thinking about quitting, do it.
Eight years, six days, 3 hours, 19 minutes and 11 seconds. 87844 cigarettes not smoked, saving $12,517.79. Life saved: 43 weeks, 4 days, 20 minutes.

Just thought I'd stop by and say hi today..its my 4 yr quit day. Woulda saved a bunch of money had I not found lots of new and better things to spend it on. Just got my daughter a horse for her b-day on the 27th. Fresh air, trail rides and shoveling poo has to be a healthier thing to do! lol Hope everything is going well for all of you... Pat
