Good morning! Rise and shine sleepy heads! Today is the day! Just passed my 17 month anniversary. Yesterday, it occured to me that some of the chaos I am currently experiencing is due to the fact that I quit smoking. Smoking was really a big deal - my anchor - and sometimes I do find myself lost but then I remember and I feel great and centered again. There is NO WAY I am going back to smoking - chaos or no! Have a great smoke free week everyone! XXOO

Got the next two days away from the office and will be working outside on the house.
Last year The Girl missed Halloween because she was hospitalized...so far it looks like she'll make it this year.
Other than that, a good weekend doing the seasonal stuff, draining the fish pond, watching leaves fall and all that. A cigarette would add nothing!

Not a whole lot of trick or treaters around here. To make up for loss of bulk, the kids go around the block at lease twice. Caught my neighbor when I recognized him wearing last year's Santa suit.
Finally gotten cooler with a chance of frost tonight, and that may be our blizzard considering we're in an extreme drought with not much moisture in the offering. The locaal government tells us to cut our water consumption in half or they'll have to take more drastic action. Maybe make us cook, drink and bathe with beer!
Golly, 7 & 1/2 years without smoking ... it seems like yesterday when my breathing wheezed and my voice rattled.
