Up and at 'em everyone! Gosh is Christmas really next week!!! I went to the firm Christmas do last weekend - it was a weekend at Whistler Ski Resort and was it heavenly. Everyone was walking on Cloud 9 on Monday. Truly, a first class event. Next year, Paris!!! Then on Monday, I had a mild toothache...say no more right? All week, Hell! Pain increasing by the minute. Ended up at a specialist who said that he'd have to operate on a tooth which had already had a root canal previously but the low part, deep in the jaw area, was infected. Anyhow...with the wonders of modern medicine, antibiotics, the pain and infection subsided. I'll be getting a second root canal but after the new year. Gosh. All without a thought for a cigarette and indeed, at the back of my mind, thankful that I didn't smoke because a root canal is murder for smokers. Well, I hope everyone is ready for Christmas next week. Have a great smokeless week everyone!

Holy filling, Flo gal ... that's not my idea of a Xmas gift! And yes, modern tecnology & meds do certainly take pain & error out of dental procedures. I feel all will go well for you.
Saw a couple of toy cars at WalMart ... shake & go ... small shake and they produce car sounds and such with batman or superman making vocal sounds. One bump and all heck would bust loose. All thru the store up to the checkout, our basket sounded like a political sound truck!

Here!
I hear ya with the dental thing Flo.... I'm glad they no longer use square needles...Makes it much easier when they start sawing and hacking. It's a good thing you had it checked out because infections in the mouth can lead to other huge problems.
It's a good thing you didn't get 'pulled over' Jimpops.

I used to hate the dentist, but I've come to like mine as he gives me extra doses of numbing whenever I ask. Go numb Flo!
Dorothy, need any help recovering your other board-name?
I RAN thru the mall yesterday and was surprised how much breath I had. I usually get winded just going up the flight of stairs to my office.
Forgotten how to smoke since: 10-27-99
