I am back from the Warm Gulf coast and have the sunburn to match. It is always hard to get back into the daily routine after living free for a week plus. I do feel bad about missing roll call last Monday as I was without internet access. I have been coming here for Roll Call since June 2001 and it has been a lifeline. I plan to continue for some time yet. Hopefully others will as well! 06/11/2001 at 18:30:00 6 Years 9 Months 2 Weeks 5 Days 14 Hours 34 Minutes 54 Seconds. Cigarettes not smoked: 74538. Back in the office chair again. The Wife was discharged from the hospital Sat. nite and will have her blood monitored daily for the near future. Meanwhile I seem to have picked up a cold bug from the hospital so now I've had 4 consecutive months of getting sick. New dog is sick as well coming from both ends, so can't really say that life's a big happy party at the moment.
Back at the office work has been accumulating...guess that snow shovel won't get put away yet.
However, one thing is definite, a cigarette won't help a dang thing and isn't even a passing thought anymore so that's a big help.

Good morning everyone. We had a snow blizzard on Saturday! We're calling it snail - snow, hail and rain - crazy day! Then it was Lights Out day on Saturday night - where everyone was to turn as many lights off as possible at 8:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. I joined in. Doing my part. Today the new law comes into effect here in Vancouver - no smoking outside doors of business offices, no smoking on patios, no indoor smoking areas - fines of $60.00 for offenders and more for businesses who don't uphold this law. The noose is tightening.
Gosh, I'm glad I'm free of that nicotine!
Don, I'm very relieved to hear your wife is home now. I'll keep praying for her to stay well. I'm sorry to hear you and your dog are sick though. Hang in there. Spring is around the corner. And you're absolutely right, smoking does not help a dang thing!
Stay smoke free everyone and have a great week!
