I have the attention span of a gnat I guess. I make all these resolutions on Sunday about what I'm going to do that week (food wise), and by Wednesday, I'm stuffing my face. I just don't seem to be able to stay focused. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I can sympathize. I'm diabetic and I can't stay away from sugary things like candy, ice cream and cookies. I do very well all day, and then in the evening my resolve caves and I blow another good intention. I need help too. I've been good so far today, but here comes evening and I know that old sugar monster is getting ready to kick in. It's too hot to go for a walk, shoot, it's too hot to even go outside. I'm in the same boat as you patti, what can we do?

I do alright through most of the day, especially if I have cold melon or something like that to munch. But I really get in trouble in the evening too, and can't seem to get to bed without a glass of milk and a couple of cookies or worse!
My health food store says take cromium picolinate for the cravings...supposed to help regulate sugar peaks and drops. I bought some, but darn if I can remember to take it. I also keep chitosan, but forget to take that too.
