Hi all. I have recently stopped smoking 3 weeks ago, cold turkey. I've been waiting for lap band gastric weight loss surgery for over one year now. I intend to get it done within the next couple of months. I haven't stopped smoking in order to get this done, quite the oposite, but I am confident that being nicotine free will allow my body to heal faster. Have anyone here had similar stories?
