Insanely busy last week..hoping for a calmer week.
Enjoy your week off Karen!
More winter weather headed my way...again. My back is aching this morning, looking forward to Spring...if I have to shovel at least let it be to plant some flowers or something like that.

Checking in! Having boasted that I live in "Lotus Land" aka God's Country ... the past 3-4 weeks have broken many records - all time cold, all time snow fall, all time rain fall, winds - gosh, it's been haywire around here. We had that nightmare combination of snow, warm weather, melting, icy weather - making for black ice...that is usually the end of it but this year...it went and did that three times. Ironically, our skiing mountains didn't get the snow. The lowlands got the snow while the mountains didn't.
Finally, the rains (torrential) have cleared up much of the snow fall (record amounts) but it is now causing floods for many here. It seems to be calming down now thank goodness and back to seasonal norms although for many, it will be awhile yet before they are back to normal. How is everyone faring? The weather fronts have hit all of North America so hopefully, y'all are managing.
One good thing: I didn't have to go out in the stormy weather to have a cigarette or go to the store to buy a pack. I also didn't have to keep the windows open despite the freezing temps to keep the smoke out.

Nice to see you again JP ;D
you know...if you feel a crave going on, just look outside.
I pitty the fools who'll be smoking outside during this cold spell. (Can't compare with my northern neighbors but we expect a high of -1F tomorrow.)
