The thermometer out my kitchen window this morning... ...somewhere about -17F. Yeah, anyone who 'choses' to smoke in that isn't addicted.

A few winters ago, I went to Montreal, and it has cold winters. They all smoke inside - with the doors and windows closed. It was horrible. I saw two distinguished older businessmen smoking over the lunch hour the other day. They were both attractive well-heeled gentlemen but the look of shame and embarrassment on their faces was plain to see. I sent them a silent affirmation that they would soon quit.

strange weather...it has been sooooooo terribly cold right up to and including yesterday...then today is respectable...yay!!!...Enjoying the freshness of the air without smoke...except in doorways...yuk...glad I got my sense of smell back...missed it. The squirrels in my backyard are back so there is hope spring will soon be upon us. Global warming Jimpops...what is it really? Hard to figure when you read the weather reports...maybe just chaos...not palm trees in my yard like I had envisioned... JP
