Loud applause for your one-year anniversary! I'm very proud of you, knowing what obsticles your've had to overcome. I knew you could do it! Best Wishes, Dot

ONE YEAR? Is that true? WOW! Countryblocs, you are amazing! Really amazing! So many times you faltered, you fell, you went away. I prayed for you. I worried about you. I said goodbye to you. I gave up on you.
But you never did. You just kept digging deep inside yourself and pulled yourself up and kept on trying. And there you would be on the site again. And I would rejoice. You are truly amazing. Now, it's your One Year Anniversary. Wow.
Do you have any idea what you have accomplished? I suppose you do! It's hard enough to quit, but to quit while your husband smokes, to be hit with so many challenges throughout this year. Lesser people would have collapsed. But not you. I have learned a lot from you. You are amazing.
You are a shining example of perserverance. Be proud of that and pat yourself on the back. Take yourself out for a treat! Jump up in the air and sing out loud. You deserve it.
Keep up the good work Countryblocs!

I just decided to come here to read some posts and surprised to see how some of you noticed. I'm sorry Dot. I didn't know you slipped. I'm here for you too.Let's do what Slim said. He said let's be finished with the smoking. Yes I have some obsticles in my way.My husband still smokes outside and I'm glad not around me. I want to tell you what worked for me. I tried many times to quit but couldn't stay quit. I went to my doctor and got Chantix. Then I said a prayer every night. I asked the Lord to help me quit and stay quit and I haven't touched one since. I still say a little prayer asking for strength to stay quit. Right now my husband is out in the garage having one but I don't say anything anymore. I wish he would quit but I realize it has to be when he is ready and right now he is not.I don't mean to get carried away but I really do feel better about quitting after over 40 years and I am grateful to each of you for your help and support.
