Good morning Judyb! Would you believe it - we are covered in the white stuff over in the Pacific Northwest. It hasn't broken a record but it's close and we may break the coldest day ... sheesh! And yet, it could melt by this afternoon and then it's like it never happened. Strange days on planet earth.
However, I don't need to go out there to have a cigarette and that is very coool! I saw someone on another balcony out there having his fix in the cold cold weather the other day. I actually felt sorry for the girl friend. It's just no fun having a smoker for a boy friend. In fact, for me, it's out of the question now.
How far I have come.

How refreshing to walk past the "so many feet from the building entrance" smokers' cloud and know I am not one of them, not tempted in the least.
Of course it would be a different story if there was an assorted meat & cheese tray at the building entrance.

Talk about the smokers. Hubby and I went to the casino the other day and it was soooooo smokey in there it made us sick. In order to get to the non smoking section we had to walk through the smoking section(YUCK) You think it would be the other way around but it wasn't. Anyways we are proud to say we been smokefree for: Dorothy: Five years, two months, two days, 7 hours, 55 minutes and 43 seconds. 75533 cigarettes not smoked, saving $13,218.31. Life saved: 37 weeks, 3 days, 6 hours, 25 minutes. Roger: Seven years, two months, two weeks, five days, 5 hours, 26 minutes and 49 seconds. 105529 cigarettes not smoked, saving $18,467.59. Life saved: 1 year, 2 days, 10 hours, 5 minutes.

Smoke free here and glad I don't have to go outside for breaks like I did when I smoked. Now I go outside for fresh air and not smoke and nicotine in my system.
Winter storm coming this week..............YUCK...........I want back on my bicycle and am going through withdrawal.

Pear trees are in blossom, air smells fresh, birds are chasing each other, cats are prowling, darkness comes later, spring is just over the hill.
