I'd love to relive some of those long summer days myself, slim! Now the days zoom by me.
My quit time has zoomed as well!!!
10 years, 10 months, 1 week, 5 days, 29 minutes and 26 seconds. 138,915 cigarettes not smoked, saving $12,155.12. Life saved: 1 year, 16 weeks, 6 days, 8 hours, 15 minutes.
To those struggling with their quits and those contemplating a quit, it IS do-able, take it from me, someone who never had any "willpower". You have to WANT to quit, you have to WANT to stay quit to succeed.
Coming here is a secret to success. Read and post and read some more!

Smoke free and loving it. Had a smoking dream the other night which surpised me as I had not had one in quite awhile.
Got caught in the rain riding my bike home from work yesterday and I looked like a drowned rat even with my helmet on when I got home LOL. Happy I can ride back and forth now thanks to being smoke free though.

Happy First Day of June! Wow. One minute it's raining and cold and it seems summer will never come and boom! It's hot and sunny! One has to be fast on one's feet to keep up with this weather. I was leaving for work this morning and saw a lighter on my coffee table. For a second I went to reach for it to put it in my purse and remembered I don't smoke anymore and at the same time knew it. Strange but fantastic. I have had a few brief urges lately but they were very brief. There were so many in fact that I stopped to contemplate it and let myself examine it. New situations or rather situations that have not come up since I quit smoking brought these craves/rememberances up that's all. The benefits of not smoking, the gift of my quit...there is no way I would go back to smoking.
Have a great smoke-free week everyone!

I can't believe that half a year is almost gone. I'm not looking forward to the humidity that comes with summer though. Still quit:

Yep even after getting robbed (our house) this week, I didnt even think once of quitting, isnt that amazing. Right there with you Flo, I take a min to recognize the urge and then move on. No one was home and everyone is fine, but we lost some flat screen tv's ipod, camera, and My Wii, which I just bought a new Fitness coach to go along with my quit. Oh well back to good old walking. Karyn I think a little over a month!!!! And loving it!!!!
