Hi Everyone!
I’m really sorry that I haven’t been around for awhile. But I’ve been a little preoccupied lately. My husband’s Mother is a diabetic. She was out walking one day and stepped on a nail. It went through her shoe and into her foot. She didn’t tell anyone about it and didn’t take care of it very well. Needless to say, she ended up in the hospital with gangrene. She was within an hour of losing her whole leg. They had to cut the tendons in that foot and removed some of the tissue. She had a wonderful doctor who managed to save the leg and foot. He got the gangrene cleared up. But just before she was to be released, she had congestive heart failure!! They managed to get that under control. The doctor then decided to do plastic surgery on the foot so that she could walk on it a little better. After what seemed forever, she got to go home. But she had us all worried because she just didn’t seem all there. She kept repeating things over and over. It was enough to drive us all crazy. But after a few days she seemed to be getting better. After about a month, she went in for a checkup. The doctor didn’t like the looks of one of her toes. So back in the hospital she went, and he removed the toe. She was in the hospital about a week that time. She’s back home again and she’s back to repeating things over and over. Plus she insists that she was in the hospital for 2 years the first time.
On top of all that we ended up with her Jack Russell Terrier. I don’t know if any of you have had any experience with the Jack Russell, but they are very hyper until about 4 years old. Mindy is about 2 years and full of energy. We already had a J.R. by the name of Benji. Benji is 4 years old and just starting to settle down. At least he was. Needless to say, they have me wore out.
So please be patient with me. I will get the certificates caught up again in a couple of days. I promise.
