August---Already??! Time is just ticking away.
Did the county fair yesterday and neighbor's party night before. So at least I spent the weekend outdoors.
Kids start school in a few weeks...and it all starts up again (homework that even I have a hard time helping with).

Time sure has passed fast this summer, only a couple more weeks with the grand daughters. So many things to show them, places to take them and not enough time to do it this year. Doing it all smoke free, they never knew a grandma who smoked.

3 of my great-granddaughters have been around this summer. It's nice to be able to say "I quit"!

It's August .... time flies by. We had a quiet weekend....worked some....played some...never thought about smoking! AS for the kids...they have a rude awakening when school starts...no more sleeping till Noon. Should prove interesting.

Gosh! School starts? It just ended! Does time fly! We have been in the middle of a heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest. It's broken all the records. How hot was it? In Seattle, it went to 105 or so and a restaurant had a glass patio table and it burst from the heat - and it was in the shade! The heat wave has broken and it's back to seasonal norms thank heavens. It was getting a bit unbearable. Still, summer is nice isn't it? August can be the best...with just a hint of cool in the undercurrent but this warm diffused sun washing over you. Hope this week is beautiful for everyone. Not smoking makes every day beautiful though.

Am I too late for roll call???
Just happened to be looking at my "favorites" on my computer and saw the Smoke Busters link. Glad to see all of you here and hope you're all doing well.
We joined a gym back at the beginning of the year and are still going 3x week. (We learned to make homemade ice cream shortly thereafter so I won't get into whether the gym has helped or not but the ice cream is good :-))
Doing great though and living smoke-free!!!
