We are experiencing lightening storms today and two young boys were struck by lightening the other day, one dying. It reminded me that lightening storms are not only exciting, they are dangerous. I thought I would pass this article on as it provides simple tips on what to do during a lightening storm - in case you have forgotten. www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,287753,00.html

Correction. One boy was not killed. Both boys (and their mother) were hit by lightning in a freak accident. Both boys were injred, with the younger boy in critical condition but he is now out of critical. It's really a tragic accident and the effects of this strike are still unknown. It's been known to actually change a person's personality as well as causes brain damage and harm to the internal organs to name a few. The father, who was on the news last night, said the young lad comes in and out of consciousness but so far that's all they know. Their feet were black from the burns though! Horrible. Here is an article on the story. My facts are a bit skewed... www.northpeel.com/news/article/74501
