Good morning my fellow nonsmokers! I actually am getting on the computer in the morning on a work day. That does not happen very often. I just wanted to stop by and start off my day right with a roll call with you all. I am smoke free, grateful, and ready to rock and roll with the new day.
Have a great week.
Karen

Hi everyone. First day of school for my grand daughters today, along with the late buses getting home and new drivers. Nerves frayed but I'm still smoke free.

Hubby's staph infection has not come back from what we can tell but he still suffers from pain in the knee that was infected and also has arthritis in the other knee. He was on antibiotics for many months fighting this infection. He is in no hurry to have another surgery though. There is still a stitch in his right knee from the surgery but they docs don't want to open him up again anytime soon. Thanks for asking Dot!

Spent an extended weekend about an hour north of Eau Claire, WI visiting The Wife's sister. Kayaking, site-seeing, boating, campfires, night sky watching...had a really good time and have the mosquito bites and sun tan to show for it.
Kids went back to school today and now the whole cycle of homework and related grief return.
