Well I've obviously squandered it since our credit card bills are up there. However, after the holidays are over a good part of that smoking money will be steered toward paying those bills.
At least the money spent wasn't all up in smoke!

Oh Don misery does love company! I had all this extra money since I quit smoking. Went on a spending spree buying clothes galore. Now, with this car, I have zero money. I guess the saying is correct in that in order not to squander your money, you should go in debt is true. I am going to look for a part time job on Saturdays. Still, it's good to have this car. I can visit my dad now in the hospital as much as I want to. He is doing well actually. He's still in the hospital but now he's in the long-term section where they are monitoring his meds and he's getting physio therapy. He has to eat in the dining room though and it's actually the best thing for him. He sends my mom home at dinner time now and he eats his desert first (because he may be too full if he eats the main meal first) and he is charming all the women there as he is one of the few men still left and they all love him. He's become the chivalrous gentleman. Interesting.
Anyhow, today is the first day of autumn and the days and nights are of equal duration today. We are having a fantastic summery day today, very warm.
