Monday rolls around again.
My weekend was filled with smoke...camping this weekend with my son's Boy Scout troop. The rest of the troop slept in a shelter whilst The Boy and I slept a couple of nights in our tent. Yesterday morning there was enough frost that the troop was having a snowball fight. I really really really appreciated my warm bed at home last night. I can still detect the smell of campfire in my car from the clothes I wore riding home in it.

Good afternoon everyone! Don, I love taking holidays out in the country as it makes coming home so very welcome! I had a couple of "moments" over the weekend where I knew it was just these kinds of moments when I would light up. They were like wisps of smoke if you will.
We've had really hinky weather lately. Two weeks ago, it was getting darn right chilly with snow in the forecast for the outer regions, then last week, it was darn right balmy! This weekend, it poured and poured but was mild then by 3:00 on Saturday, the rain stopped and the sun came out and it was summer again! All the cars that were on the road and had parked were steaming from the heat! Then Sunday it clouded over and by 7:00 that evening it was really chilly! This morning it was chilly but this afternoon, the sun came out and again, it is very warm out! It's like the tropics in the office! I think it might be the hurricane down the west coast near the Baja that is affecting us!
Well, tomorrow is my birthday! You know, the weight of all the years can bring a person down at times but if you take all the lessons and experience and apply it to today...the saying that youth is wasted on the young...well, if you apply all that experience to today, well, who knows what tomorrow will bring. At any rate, today becomes full of promise so let go of yesterday!
Have a great smoke-free week everyone!

Late in the week but better late then never. I am still very smoke free and grateful. Get to go to my son's first choir concert for High School tonight. Excited about that! Work the next 7 days after having 3 days off but it is all good.
Have a great weekend everybody.
Karen
