Hi folks! Long week on the road is over and all I have is aches, pains and receipts. Got the sniffles now, guess that's what happens when you run yourself down.
I came back to cooler temps and a lot of greenery. Nice time of year when the bugs aren't in full force yet and the colors are amazing.

Greetings everyone! Finally, the spring and sun are in Vancouver. It's supposed to last till the weekend. Mother's Day was a beautiful day and we all had a great time on Sunday. I got my mom a bouquet of peonies - coral pink - which were amazingingly beautiful and she loved them. Did you know that even cut peonies close up at night and then re-open in the morning with the sun? Isn't that fabulous?
Here's a bit of trivia: Have you ever been walking along a street in the late spring (like right about now) and walked into a swarm of little bugs? They are apparently mating. Saw that on some nature show about gardens once. Another mystery solved.
Have a great smokeless week everyone! Four years quit for me this May. ;D

Had an excellent Mother's Day, all 3 sons, wives & grandkids present. Wife & weather really fine.
Imagine we need to post on other boards & invite them people to come visit us. I've noticed restaurants are still busy even with a no smoking law in NC.
